File2hd is an online tool that enables you to download files, movies, video and mp3 from Myspace, Imeem, Youtube and many more.
To use the tool, just copy the URL of the site where you found the music or videos. Click to agree to the terms and select the type of file you want to retrieve. You then get a list of links to the media you requested. Just right click save as to download. Simple as 123. (look at this video tutorial to see it work.)
Freezer is a free portable utility that can download music streams from sites like deezer , jiwa or imeem as MP3. Freezer doesn’t need to be installed, but runs as a standalone application (exe).
To use it you just have to turn your browser proxy on localhost and port 8800. Then launch Freezer. It will automatically detect music played and then save it lossless to an mp3 file. Download as many songs as you want in the same time, without limitation. When you have finished using it, don’t forget to turn your proxy off again.
The mp3 downloaded are exact copies from the site. There is no re encoding that would cause quality loss. Freezer runs on Windows XP and is tested with Internet Explorer 6,7,8b and Firefox.
Imeem is één van de grootste sociale media sites. Op Imeem delen duizenden gebruikers digitale media, zoals foto’s, video’s en muziek met elkaar.
Imeem werd opgericht in 2004 door onder meer Jan Jannink, voormalig actief bij Napster. Ook de ontwikkelaars van het oude Napster werken nu aan Imeem. De site is opgebouwd rondom een sociaal netwerk met als extra toemaatje digitale content die gedeeld kan worden, vergelijkbaar met Flickr en Youtube. Volgens de oprichters heeft Imeem meer dan 25 miljoen leden.
Imeem heeft een deal kunnen sluiten met de meeste platenfirma’s, zoals Warner Music Group Corp ( Madonna, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers. ), Sony/BMG music, EMI en Vivendi Universal.
Gebruikers kunnen zelf tracks uploaden. Indien Imeem voor deze tracks geen deal heeft, worden ze automatisch herleid naar 30 seconden.
De muziek op Imeem is niet downloadbaar, maar wel te delen via Facebook, MySpace en andere sociale netwerken. De player, inclusief de muziek is te embedden op een eigen website.
